HANDLING
There run out is powered carbon slat type ca 35m long.
There is a single chain driven puller with variable DC drive
The cooling table is walking beam type leading onto a 12/15T stretcher by TRUNIGER.
There is a semi automatic saw gauge table with finishing saw by Oliver
Die Heater: Gas fired adjacent to press
Billet Heating: Gas fired mounted in cellar below press with elevator to raise heated billet into press centre line via 2 part billet loader.
GENERAL
Whilst the press is of older design, it is in excellent working condition and has primarily been used for the extrusion of high quality profiles mainly for the aerospace and automobile industries in a range of alloys including 5xxx and 6xxx series.
It is perfectly capable of being put back into production without modification however, upgrading to a more modern concept would be of benefit in the medium term.
Available for dismantling and removal
